We, at Evorve take the issue of copyright very serious and as such we frown to any form of copyright infringement. To begin with, what is copyright? Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country that grant the creator of an original content exclusive rights for its usage and distribution. So in the following sections below, we will explain what you need to know to upload and download any video or audio content on Evorve.
1.Manage your content
Well, if you uploaded any video or audio content owned by you or that you have been given the rights for its usage on Evorve and you feel like someone else downloaded it and re-upload it on Evorve without your consent, do not hesitate to let us know and we will take the appropriate action on such individual. Please note that any content you uploaded on Evorve can be download by anyone for his/her personal enjoyment and if you don't want any of your content to be downloaded or shared, do not upload it on Evorve.
In its most general sense, a fair use is any copying of copyrighted material done for a limited and "transformative" purpose, such as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work. Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner. In other words, fair use is a defense against a claim of copyright infringement. If your use qualifies as a fair use, then it would not be considered an illegal infringement.
Learn to stay on the safe side of copyright laws when uploading new videos and audio on Evorve, as you already know that we do not support copyright violations. You should assume that any piece of content you come across is copyright-protected unless you created it or you have received the owner's explicit permission to use it.
